Policy
OT AUSTRALIA NSW seeks to protect its intellectual property rights, the intellectual property rights of its members and others who may give permission for material contributed by them to be used on the OT AUSTRALIA NSW website. A copyright notice to this effect is to be published on the website. OT AUSTRALIA NSW will endeavour to establish copyright ownership and seek publication permission for all material contributed to or sourced by OT AUSTRALIA NSW and affiliated groups, and OT AUSTRALIA NSW members prior to website re-publication.

Procedure
The Project Officer shall review all material submitted for website uploading in areas other than the Discussion Board. Material that is submitted which may breach the intellectual property rights of a third party is not to be uploaded until clarification of copyright ownership is sought and permission to publish (if applicable) is secured.

Material that has been posted to the Discussion Board which is considered to breach the intellectual property rights of a third party will be removed as soon as possible after this comes to the attention of OT AUSTRALIA NSW . Clarification of copyright ownership will be sought from the member who has posted that material to the Board. If it is considered after review, that no copyright breach has occurred (i.e. permission had been given or the material is in the public domain) then the material may be re-posted to the Board.

To protect the intellectual property rights of OT AUSTRALIA NSW, members and others who may give permission for material to be used on the OT AUSTRALIA NSW website, the following copyright notice is to be included on the website:

"This web site and its contents are subject to copyright under the laws of Australia, international treaties and the laws of other countries. The copyright and materials on this site and this web site as a whole are owned by OT AUSTRALIA NSW. The copyright in some materials incorporated within this web site is owned by third parties. You may view this web site and its contents using your web browser and saving an electronic copy, or print out a copy, of parts of this web site solely for your own information, research or study, but only if you:

(a) do not modify the copy from how it appears in this web site; and
(b) include the copyright notice "OT AUSTRALIA NSW" on the copy,
(c) you must not otherwise exercise the copyright on the whole or any part of this web site for any other purpose except as specially permitted by statute or with OT AUSTRALIA NSW's prior consent.
