OT AUSTRALIA NSW provides Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events and activities as a core member service. The CPD program provides members with the opportunity to extend their knowledge and skills. The Professional Development Manager is responsible for the overall management of OT AUSTRALIA NSW CPD events and activities. CPD is organised by the OT AUSTRALIA NSW Secretariat and by specialty clinical or regional focus groups.

One of the benefits of being a member is full access to OT AUSTRALIA NSW Continuing Professional Development events and activities. Events and activities are conducted in rural, regional and Sydney areas of NSW.

CPD provided by OT AUSTRALIA NSW is responsive to identified member needs and facilitates the development of contemporary professional standards of practice. The anticipated outcome is to achieve better health outcomes for consumers of occupational therapy services.
