OT AUSTRALIA Accredited Occupational Therapist Program

The OT AUSTRALIA AccOT program commenced in April 2001. The Accredited Occupational Therapist Program is OT AUSTRALIA's response to the expectations of the Commonwealth and State Government that professional associations demonstrate a high level of accountability for members' standards of practice.

The aim of the program is to assist and encourage occupational therapists to continue professional life-long learning. The AccOT Program encourages active involvement in the profession. The AccOT Program uses a positive approach based on principles of inclusion and self-responsibility to recognise completion of continuing professional development activities as evidence of the enhancement of the occupational therapist's professional competencies relevant to the currency of their knowledge.
