OT AUSTRALIA NSW
OT AUSTRALIA NSW is the peak body representing occupational therapists working
in New South Wales, Australia. OT AUSTRALIA NSW began in 1945 with 31 members. Today it has a
membership of nearly 1300 therapists who work in a diverse range of settings including
the public health and welfare sectors and in the private health and corporate sectors.
The key roles of OT AUSTRALIA NSW include:
- Providing of a range of services and benefits to members which enhance their
work as therapists and their professional standards of practice.
- Influencing governments and community agencies to contribute to the improvement
of health and welfare services to the consumer.
- Influencing key employer groups regarding issues affecting the role and services
provided by occupational therapists.
OT AUSTRALIA NSW is a public company limited by guarantee and is governed by a Board
of Directors led by a President. OT AUSTRALIA NSW is managed by a Secretariat led
by an Executive Director.
